South NJ Private Inspections
 

When the second transmission in my V6 Firebird went, my father and I took the opportunity to swap in a V8. The issue is inspections. It won't pass as long as the VIN is for a 6 cylinder and that's what the emission test is run for. I was wondering if anyone knows of any solid private inspection stations in south Jersey. I don't want to do anything that might be illegal to pass.

what did you swap in? if its a factory configuration available that year or newer in that chassis, its PERFECTLY legal in NJ, vin does not matter, if they say it does, they are full of it. However if its a 350 with anything other than TPI on it, your beat.
