Looking for a ->GOOD<- body shop in Indiana (indy-ish area - pef) Car is stripped down, and drives. Needs metalwork -> WELDING<- typical stuff nothing to bad Both quarters fixed - (I have 2 good GM quarters in hand) Both wheels houses patched - (not to bad) driver side floor welding FINISHED underneath the front tip of the drivers side rocker (finished / redone) front right subframe had the skin ripped back around the tow hole (chain pulling incident) and just needs to be closed up Thats it, cars at a body shop now...but I might be firing them if they dont get their sh1t together. (time wasting, "small shop B.S") -LMK |
Re: Looking for a ->GOOD<- body shop in Indiana (indy-ish area - pef) Anywhere you go you will hurry up and wait.... Only alternative is to get in line at an actual restoration type shop which will get even more expensive real quick. Most shops don't do repairs that are not the typical insurance jobs anymore sadly. Before talking to anyone, I would document all work done, work that needs to be done, parts you have on hand, parts that need to be acquired and your own realistic expectations. Only then would I bother talking to a body shop. Expectations and pricing will be done accordingly. Going to the front of the line will requite this $$$$$$, in a work as you have time arrangement the car can get buried by other work. |
