no motor in car. can i install a cage?
 
as the title says im currently putting new pistons i the car and was just curious if i can still install a cage in the car with no motor. i know the body wont be under stress as it would be with the motor

I would make sure the car is level side to side and front to back before you do any welding on it. I used 1/2 flat washers to make sure mine was level before I did any welding on it. If you weld a cage in a crooked car it'll always be that way.
