Polished Drag-Thrust Wheel

im thinking about buying a set but noticed they only come with a 5.5 bs in the 15x10 anyone happen to have pics of what they look like on a 3rdgen

i found a post form 2 years ago but it doesnt state if they are the 15x8 or 15x10;s with the 5.5 bs

its either going to be those or a set of the summit fast fives in 15x4 and 15x10 with 6.5 bs

they do look rather good on the 4thgen
Attachment 330622

and heres the few pics i did find but it looks liek it may have been 2 diff sets of wheels on the back of the car judging my how far they stick out in some pics and not the others but cant tell with the angle

Attachment 330623
look like its sticking out there ,but in this pic below it looks like its on further

Why do you need a 10" wheel? Rear tire 275/60r15

twin turbo car it needs all the tire it can get , my v6 turbo car has 10 inch wide slicks on 15x8 welddraglite's and it doesnt work well rims to narrow
ive got 15x9's on it now with a 5.5 backspace they are perfect fitment wise but are ugly as all heck
( old school centerlines )

Re: Polished Drag-Thrust Wheel

i ordered the fronts for now still torn on the 15x8 or 15x10's
checking on price of a 9 inch housing shortened .5 on each side and if its reaosnable ill get the 15x10's if not ill stick with the 15x8's

grabed a set of nexon sb802's for the front tires

both of these cars have 15x10" wheels. mine (left) has 6.5" back spacing. the one on the right has 5.5" back spacing. i've already voiced many times in other threads that i prefer the 6.5" backspacing ;)

i like those wheels a lot. i don't like how much they weigh, and i don't care for the fact that they are acorn type lug nuts only. need a shank type with any car that leaves hard in my opinion.

yeah they are pretty darn heavy , but these are my street wheels , still havent picked out a strip wheel yet , so many choices that i like so really hard to pick one set

My $.02... 1/2" offset works better than 1" (the 10" with 6.5), these are 15x9 draglites with 5.5, though I think I'm running a 1/2" shorter tire than Matt (and way too much ride height):

im going for the 15x10's with 5.5 bs with a narrowed rear 1/2 inch per side
i have an 8.8 im putting in it for now and since i have to cut the tubes anyways it will be easy to get them in the right place , and then when i order and 9 inch or whatever i can just have it made the same size

Re: Polished Drag-Thrust Wheel

That puts them in the same place... that works, I just debate if I would go narrower or wider if I was doing what you're doing, I wouldn't do stock width again, the wheels just don't exist for it... honestly, with my current project if I was going to do it over I'd probably go 1 or 1.25" wider, but the reason is a long story.

cant wait for both sets of rears to arrive i rodered both 15x8's and 15x10's , 8's for dr's and 10's for slicks , might get a wider set for the fronts to for when i feel like doing some spirited driving up on the mountain roads
