Lsa Blower on a 5.3.. 10 bolt, M6, 4.10's. 1/4 Mile Results

Hey guys, so some of you know I recently installed an lsa blower on the wee 5.3. She put down 530rwhp and 510rwtq on a mustang dyno through the t-56 and 10 bolt. So about a week after I got it back while doing a burnout I grenaded the rear. I ordered an S60 with 3.73's and an s-trac, but while I waited a month for it to be built I decided to throw my spare set of 4.10's in the 10 bolt to enjoy the car a bit. Well, the S60 came a few days ago, but I haven't had a chance to install it yet. A few buddies were going to the track, and I was dying to see what it would trap, so I being I had AAA and a new rear waiting to go in, I said **** it! First pass I tried to take slow to get a feel for how traction was, no burnout. Well first gear was useless, 2nd gear was useless, then 3rd gear she hauled ***. That run was a 13.0 @21 mph, guess there was a problem with the clock, with a 2.158 60ft. I slowly slipped the clutch at 2k for the launch. As I feared, I ran out of gear in 4th due to the 4.10's, and would have had to grab 5th a few seconds before the trap. I just bounced off the limiter and rolled through the gate.

For the second run I aired the tires down to 26psi, and decided to do a burnout. I launched it the same way, but instead of matting the gas off the line, I gradually rolled into it until 3rd. I also went to 5th gear. This run gave me an 11.9@125.55 mph. 60ft was a 2.156, reaction was .456. So after this run I figured I was done for the night and I probably couldn't do any better with the street tires and not having wot off the launch. Well I was wrong, because duplicating what I just did, I ran a 11.49 @126.55 with a .140 reaction, and 2.0 60ft. I couldn't believe it! Run after that was another 11.9, followed by a 12.0 and 12.3. By then my tires were kinda shot, and being it was a cool night everything seemed to be getting dewey.

I can't wait to get the strange in the car now. With the S60 Ill be able to get a set of drag radials and launch it hard out of the gate. Plus I won't have to grab 5th anymore, and my 60ft should drop quite a bit. No doubt the little 5.3 should have 10's in the bag! I also put the car on the scale, weight with a full tank of gas came in at 3560. I really thought it was gonna weigh more after all the heat exchanger stuff plus the cage an a/c. Weight before the blower was 3450, but I also ditched my 10 inch sub and amps to try to offset the weight gain. I'm also going to start looking into installing an ice box in the hatch, beacuse my iat's climbed to 145 by the end of the pass. They dropped quickly though, so I think I just need more capacity. Went from 145 down to 91 in under a minute after I let off. That Raptor heat exchanger seems to be doing its job!:lmao:

That will put the hurt on a lot of new cars! :)

Please post in the 1/4 mile sticky. We need more reference points of various builds.
