Okay, who is gonna go to Hi-Tech at E-Town this Sat?
 

I was wondering who made plans to hit E-Town for the First Hi-Tech of 2002 this Saturday (the 23rd)? :burnout:

I expect to get there a little before 9:00 when the gates open and watch the whole damn thing - unless I freeze to death in the meanwhile.

Is anyone planning on going if the weather holds out?

paul_huryk, Are you talking about the GMHTP Shootout? I didn't know it was this weekend. I will make the trip if it is for GMHTP!

this week is camaro vs firebird actually. teh efi race is april 6th.
i plan to run in both.

I didn't read the program well enough. Like Nj said, its C vs. F day, but why the hell not go?

I figure if it isn't raining or snowing, its gotta be some sorta fun, someone either crashes or catches on fire at these events, so why not enjoy the action?

The magazine is only covering the July race and there are no heads up classes.

Johnny told me that they are pissed at E-Town for not providing the entire day for the EFI shootouts so they only decided to cover one race this season. GMHTP doesnt sponsor, organzie,etc or anything for the race. They just stick their name on the race so that e-town draws people and the mag has something to feature. Johnny said he is tired of people telling him how pissed they are that they dont get to race all day and get shuffled out quickyl for imports, or motrcycles or whatever. *shrug*

So anyway, thats the deal there.

I dont know if I will make it out for any events this season.
