How to stop problems with boost! :D Its still an in progress shot but those tabs are on each side of each connection in my air inlet system. Across each, will be a tabs with bolts holding it together. Also, had some beads rolled on the end of my tubes. http://home.webworks2000.net/guido/bead1.jpg http://home.webworks2000.net/guido/bead2.jpg |
the tabs will solid link together to prevent separation? are you goanna use mini heim joints/link bars?:) |
No that would get awfully expensive. Im going to use a solid piece of flat steel. 1" x 11 ga. thick. |
Hehe... Same problems here too... Now most of the joints are strapped. :D now to replace the rubber connects with reinforced silicone. blew one apart the other day after a quick blast down the street. think i scared some old lady half to death.. POP !! PHsssssss |
that guy that is a member here now that used a holset turbo on his 2.3 stang and used like a Saab factory boost baypass as a blowoff valve says it sounds like a gunshot when it relieves- LOL that must be so much fun! see what the hell im talking about |
Whats really funny is after one pops off or splits... I still have boost. with both blowers +12 psi. one blower venting, 4-5 psi.. still. now thats moving some air... lol |
LOL I'd say... |
