Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. Okay so I got a set of dart iron Eagle SS heads from a friend for pretty cheap. I am wondering if I should get a set of 1.5 or 1.6 roller rockers to go along with the stock cam? I think the 1.6 rockers will benefit a turbo build Because the valves can stay open longer to let more air in and more air out. I was going to get a ZZ4 cam but that fell through. 10021070 dart iron eagle ss head 72cc 1.94 int 1.50 exh rocker stud 3/8" Yield 8.7:1 +/- compression ratio |
Re: Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. Can't hurt, as long as you have the PTV clearance |
Re: Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. It usually helps on stock heads with stock cam, so those heads should also benefit slightly with 1.6's. with a turbo it could help more |
Re: Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. Awesome!!! Cam is stock. Heads aren't far from stick lol. I hope my turbo likes them. |
Re: Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. Whats your turbo setup like? I'm about to do a twin turbo on my 89tpi car |
Re: Will 1.6 ratio roller rockers benefit my turbo build. I'm running eBay twin T70 but have now decided to go LS motor swap. |
