Procharger Harmonic Balancer Bolt Length For the guys on here running a Procharger, what length bolt are you guys using for the harmonic balancer bolt? I just broke my old one and am replacing it with a new one. The ARP bolt that I got is 2-3/16" long. When I thread it in though, it only engages the threads about 1/4 to 3/8ths of an inch. This just doesnt seem to be enough engagement to me. Should I just buy a longer regular grade 8 bolt? |

The bolt needs to be engaged at least the diameter of the bolt. -- Joe |
Re: Procharger Harmonic Balancer Bolt Length You could use this https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...make/chevrolet or this is a bit longer, but smaller head size https://www.summitracing.com/search/...th-in/3-000-in |
Re: Procharger Harmonic Balancer Bolt Length I believe that first one is the one that I am using now. Thanks for the link on that second one. |
