Thread Display Mode ?
 

Every thread I open I'm taken to the last post in that thread, Then I have to scroll to read the opening post of that thread. As you can see I've got my display mode set on OLDEST post first not NEWEST post first, I've tried everything on my end to get the first post up with no results......

Here's the settings on one of six other boards I'm a member of and all show OLDEST post first;

It's get'n to be a PITA scroll'n or wait'n on advertisements and any pics in a thread to re-load if there's multiple pages before I can start reading.


Help Mr JT, Or anyone with the answer.......

Are you clicking on the following icon next to the threads:

If so, that link takes you to the first "unread" post in the thread. The first "unread" post will be the first post since you're last visit.

Click on the title of the thread to see the first (oldest) post/page of the thread.

By the way, default is Linear - Oldest first for everyone unless they override it. It's also what I use myself. So the function works correctly on our end.
