Austin area body shop suggestions?
 

I have an 89 GTA that needs painting. It has some surface rust from where the paint has separated from the primer but it is pretty straight otherwise. But I'm from SC so I have no connections here, and have no idea who is reputable and will do a great job for a fair price. I'm really not trying to get the lowest cost body work I can find for work that is acceptable. I am more looking for someplace that can make my car look awesome, but at the same time not rape me on cost. I just want someone who can do it once and I won't have to worry about it again for a long time.

Anybody had any work done to their car in the area that you would recommend that I go to? Who is known to put out a top notch product?

Call the independent garageman's association they know and will tell you.

That sounds like a good idea. I've never heard of them. Do you have any contact info on that? I googled them and there is no website or business listing.

There is also a fella here in Austin that did 2 of my cars.
PM me for his phone number. Did 2 G-Bodies for me.
Not the cheapest, not the most expensive but very nice quality work.
