Re: Is this seller serious?! Lol that's what I think. I saw that ad and my mouth dropped hahah |
Re: Is this seller serious?! :help: |
Re: Is this seller serious?! The guy is from azusa ca. so he was using his medical m/j , before he posted the ad "uuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh dude what do i ask for my car  was it 3,000? uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh i forgot!" |
Re: Is this seller serious?! That is one rare car! Its worth that, easy. Just the TBI alone could make up the price! Might get a few bucks for that overflow container too. |
Re: Is this seller serious?! At least he didn't devalue it by installing a LS |

Re: Is this seller serious?! |
Re: Is this seller serious?! maybe if the car had 75 miles... ...and an LSx. |
Re: Is this seller serious?! I actually called the guy because I couldn’t take it anymore… It’s a guy that knows absolutely nothing about cars let alone 3rd gens, has done absolutely no research on the vehicle, and kept saying that the girl he is selling it for kept calling it a muscle car and he knows muscle cars are around 30K LOL! I took a moment to explain that he was slightly overpriced by $26,500 and that market on a clean car such as he was selling had a market price of roughly $3,500. He thanked me for the info and said that he would wait until he got a few offers to adjust the price. Yeah… something tells me that his phone is going to be ringing off the hook @ 30K ;) |
Re: Is this seller serious?! Looks like they lowered the price to 18k now. Thank god they finally came to their senses. |
Re: Is this seller serious?! Not to mention he's advertising it as a Trans Am. Craigslist is filled with clueless people selling Third Gens also. |

Re: Is this seller serious?! a low mileage TTA or maybe even a 92 Firehawk maybe, but come on ... :lmao: |
Re: Is this seller serious?! If that's worth $18K then my truck would be worth $100K :lmao: |
Re: Is this seller serious?! What a tool. |
Re: Is this seller serious?! If he got 5 or 6k I'd think he got lucky. stock, no wrecks... |
Re: Is this seller serious?! maybe someone should send him this thread to "help" him out |
Re: Is this seller serious?! I agree with the above lmao |
Re: Is this seller serious?! you never know it says "MAKE OFFER!!!!!!!" lol |
Re: Is this seller serious?! $3500 Tops!! |
Re: Is this seller serious?! |
Re: Is this seller serious?! wow...now thats worse than the other one. i instantly sent that guy a message stating "wow are you insane, where in the world did you come up with that price" |
Re: Is this seller serious?! Yea, he just went a bit high. :lmao: |
Re: Is this seller serious?! now...3700 for that car, i could see that....but only if it was in MINT shape. one to many zeros there |
Re: Is this seller serious?! And a couple of issues he mentions. It is clean, but I would maybe spend that amount on a mint condition TTA or Firehawk. Maybe.... |
Re: Is this seller serious?! id pay that much for a brand new tta or firehawk lol... its amazing how many people think these cars are worth anything, espeically a v6 87, and im a huge v6 guy lol |
Re: Is this seller serious?! Hey there's a guy in the O.C. sellin a '92 RS for $6,000 supposedly mint. However thats too high regardless of 94,000 miles. This to me is way too high. Obviously different strokes for different folks! lol! |
Re: Is this seller serious?! yeah but you could probably at least get that car down to a buy able price what do you offer a guy who wants 37,000 lol |

A police officer pulled up in back (I saw him) and followed me for a few miles, pulled along side of me, pulled up in back again, and then pulled me over. I hadn't been speeding, but it was just in the shop for an annual checkup and I told them to inspect the car and put a new inspection sticker on it - they forgot. So, minding my own business, in a 3 piece suit, driving to an interview, doing the speed limit, I got pulled over....That was when the car was only 2 years old - it is 23 years old and still sticks out like a sore thumb!" C'mon, you guys know damn well if he threw in the power suit you'd be all over this little nugget :lmao: |

Re: Is this seller serious?! I would price it at $3000. And the $6000 balance would go to re doing the interior, painting the car and well pretty much bring it back to presentable condition. |

Another incredibly optimistic seller… it just boggles the mind. this one though is a GTA, with a 350 and T-Tops.. probably realistically half the price, if it were in better shape maybe 6-7K, but not 9k... 350 with T-tops are hard to come by, aren't they? and don't say you can always drop in a 350, guess I obviously know that... :driving::waveman: |
Re: Is this seller serious?! What would make it enticing if it were one of the handful of notchback GTA's that snuck out of the factory in 1989. |
Re: Is this seller serious?! worst thing is some idiot with more dollars than sense will come along and buy something at two or three times more than what its actually worth. just like the markup on the 5th gen. |
