Cheapest way to get sportlines lower

I just put in some sportline springs...I havent gotten a chance to drive the car yet to let the springs settle...but right now its way too high than I would like. I had some cut stock springs in there before...and I loved how low it was. I could barely stick two fingers between the fender and the tire. Now I can almost stick 4 fingers. How much should the springs settle? If I want to get it back to roughly the same height I was at (it was extremely low....and I would scrape a lot....but if I was really careful it was manageable) what are my options besides going to coil-over or airbags? Perhaps cutting a bit off the sportlines? I would love to get some beltech spindles, but last time I checked they didnt make them anymore, and I have z06 brakes so I would have to modify them if I did get them. Also, I will eventually be putting some aluminum heads on the car...so I'm afraid thats gonna raise the front even more.

Oh and I did get rid of the rubber spacer on the front, and used some heater hose for cushoning in its place.....perhaps getting rid of the hose as well?

End of springs were between the two drain holes...it doesnt look like its high....it just doesnt look low enough for me.......I'll check some photographs of thirdgens with sportlines to see how low they are...but I think mine is about the same height as most others with sportlines.

Here are a couple of shots of my car after the spring install (again...not driven....no settling)

I cut 1/2 coil off of my sportlines after installing them the first time. Still sat higher in the front so instead of getting rid of the isolators I just cut 1/2 coil off.

Also watch the group purchase section for upcoming drop spindles

What size tore are you running? My sportlines were a tad lower.

They are as low as I would want to go on the street. I hit everything.

The springs will settle but only a tiny tiny bit. It is nowhere waht everyone says it will be. They will settle in the perch and in the isolators. That will take up any slack in the install height once you go down the road.
