where can I get one The rag joint on my steering intermediate shaft is in bad shape. Where can I get one? Is it easy to change? thx Jeff |
Re: where can I get one i went to unbalancedengineering.com and bought a rag joint eliminator, it came to about $40 shipped and instructions to install etc. here is a description from their website. "Eliminates the factory rubber-fiber rag joint which can degrade and introduce steering slop. This is especially true on cars with the additional heat generated by headers. The kit includes a CNC machined coupler made from 6061-T6 aluminum which is then anodized black for corrosion resistance, and four grade 8 fasteners. A set of detailed installation instructions is also included. Cost $36 " there are a few other companies who make replacements, check out any parts america store and look for the section with the Help! brand, they make one also. good luck! |
