energy suspension

i just bought full prothane kit and was wondering is this something i can do in the driveway .. ie: do i need any presses or any special equipment to do it or is it just a swap out thing?

Re: energy suspension

yes, you need access to a press to remove the bushing in the front a-arms and the rear control arms, not to mention spring compressors and other tools to take the front end apart

Re: energy suspension

Everything except the A-arm bushings and the LCA's you can do in the driveway. And those parts can be removed in the driveway and taken to any local garage and they'll press out old/press in new for little of nothing - I did all mine in the driveway - I've done all my everything in the driveway - just takes more determination and ingenuity than the guys with access to a garage.
