PITMAN ARM??
 
So my car seemed to be driving all over the place,bump steer and what not soo i take it to kaltire and they are telling me i need a pitman arm amung other things

HOWEVER all the part stores ive called (including the dealer), lordco and napa tell me they dont make it, and the dealer says its discontinued, AND both said this is typically a non wearing part

any one run into this problem b4??

The pitman is a non-wear item. It's generally only replaced if it's been damaged, say, in an accident. Perhaps the shop meant idler arm.

Pitman arm is not a wear item. Unless it is obviously damaged your problem lies elsewhere. Idler arm is a common problem on these cars.

i think they might be getting there parts mixed up then mabey?

That is a good possibility. Not sure I want a shop working on my car that confuses the two though.

they probably meant the center link is worn out where it attaches to the pitman arm. which Kaltire did you take it to?

These are the three Items you need replaced.
You may even have play in your rag joint or in your steering gear box, but mostly the box.
And you may even need new ball joints.
