torque arm for straight line Looking for a new setup. Looking at jegster's tunnel mounted and spohn's crossmember mounted. Both are adjustable. Is there any performance difference between the two? They both rid the car of having ta mounted to trans but is one style superior to the other. 400hp small block and 150 shot nitrous with 4.10 gears. Its being used as a street straight line car mainly. No auto-x, etc... |
Re: torque arm for straight line I have the Jegster one on my car. I like it, it works well for me. It's a shorter arm so it hits the tires harder, pushes them into track surface more. With Nitto 275/60-15's DR I pulled 1.60's 60' times with the jegster TQ arm. No track times on new engine setup, but shooting for 1.40's 60' times on MT 275/60-15 DR |

Also good to get the torque arm off of the trans tail. http://www.globalwest.net/1982-1983-...uspension.html Look at the track pak arms at the bottom http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...d=63&catid=190 the last two are shorter http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...ort=20a&page=2 |
Re: torque arm for straight line ok so the shorter arm tends to grip better. Thats what I'm after. thanks. Going to order the jegster's to match my jegs frame ties. |
