New Front Struts

After my morning coffee, I went into town and picked up the new struts for the front of the car; I didn't go with anything exotic, just a new set of Monroe-matic Plus Struts.

The old struts were worn completely out, but at least the hardware wasn't corroded up and came out easily.

The new struts went in just as easily, no band aids required at all today!

Even the top hardware came off easily. Here the new strut is installed, I like to use a little red thread locker on them.

Here are the old worn out struts on the bench for comparison.........

Re: New Front Struts

how does it ride i was going to get those but ended up going with kyb excel g gas struts for the front and belltech street/strip heavy duty gas shocks for the rear the price on those certainly makes them attractive.

They ride great, that said, the old struts were so worn out anything would have been an improvement, but they do ride really nice.
