UMI Weight Jacks and Moser 12-Bolt Questions Am currently going to install a Moser 12-bolt in my 85 third gen. Am also going to use UMI weight jackets in front and rear. Has anyone done this? I need to know how tall the Moser installed center tube piece on the spring perches needs to be. |

Re: UMI Weight Jacks and Moser 12-Bolt Questions Yep, I'm following....UMI's look pretty similar to my Ground Control jacks. .....this rear I've been getting ready to install is 5/8" off the base. Assuming everything else is to thirdgen specs, that should work. MY jacks portrude down BELOW 0" deck, for lack of a better term, by about an inch. Re: UMI Weight Jacks and Moser 12-Bolt Questions Inside diameter of cup will work. UMI verifies that. Height was the issue. Thanks for the heads up. Will call Moser tomorrow and give them the needed height measurement. |

Re: UMI Weight Jacks and Moser 12-Bolt Questions Give me a call at 814-376-6000 and we can discuss. There has to be a clear hole down through for the jack bolt. Also, I can look on the drawing and check diameters. Our goal is to try it on our in-house Moser but we haven't done so yet. thx ramey |
