edelbrock TBI intake

will i see much of a performance gain by slappin on the edelbrock TBI intake manifold...i know its not the 2 inch bore like the holley one but i figure its gotta be a good bit better than stock

From looking at your mods, I would say you will see a gain in performance. It won't be huge but you will definetely feel it on the "butt" dyno. I didn't see a very big gain but when I put mine on I had almost no mods. So, yes, it is better than stock.

Also, I would recommend headers next. I think that headers are whats holding my car back. You have plenty of air going in but with the stock exhaust manifolds the air is being restricted on the way out. This is my problem ,at least.

Save you money and get some headers. The Performer TBI intake a great unit but you do not need it yet. The stock intake can support the stock heads and cam without a problem. I installed mine before I put headers on and I was dissapointed.

Ditto what Shifty said. The performance increase you'd see from the manifold is minimal when compared to headers for not much more money. Ya gotta think of your engine as a system. Everything you change affects, and is affected by, every other part. You'll be much happier if ya bump everything up just one notch (ie..mild cam, small headers, slightly larger injectors) then if you just pick one part and go wild (like a lopey cam or big tube headers alone). It's all gotta work together to work best.
