My vote is for the 305 heads and the l98 cam, heads should be 58cc, the l98 are 64cc. |
Get a set of LB9 heads. Theyll flow well and you wont loose compression. |

what is the block deck on a 305? Could you make up some compresion by decking the block and/or heads? |
The L98 corvette heads and then an LT1 cam....that should bring some flow and more power, right? |
thx for the help guys...lol i got tired of messin with my 305 so i went to jegs and orderd a crate motor...i got me the 350 deluex 330hp....i went ahead and got a edelbrock perfromer air gap intake and a 750 double pumper for it...cuz i read in i think hot rod magazine that it bumps it to 377hp...so my lil rs should be a beast after winter |

I got that setup and its still far from running right. I believe it has something to do with the intake manifold im going to be swapping back to a stock style manifold see if it clears some issues up... But be prepared to tune, or pay some1 for a chip that wont work. ASK ME HOW I KNOW! |
