Time to start tuning well im going in head first. got my '427 in the mail Friday, and my G1 is on order. i've got a few questions to ask though. first, what is the PSI for the given flow of the TBI injectors? i've got 61#ers, and CFM-Tech's AFPR. im run 18psi or so, assuming the spring will let me. anyway, i want to know what the original pressure is so i can caluclate my BPW. i know there is an "ideal range" but there must be an exact psi that 61# happens at. second, how do i get started on MAF. i read over most of the posts, but i didn't catch the jist of it. there's a patch i need right? what about PCM pinouts for the MAF? Fast355, is it worth it to persue dual Knock sensors like you did, and which were you using on a 305? i think you stated that i will need late model 350s, correct? as for the vehicle stats its as follows: 92 RS, 305. T5, 2.73 rear end. Edelbrock TES, 3" Cat, Dynomax Cat-Back. TPI Fuel pump, 61# injectors, inj. spacer, ground TBI, 14" filter. thats all the mods for now. im hoping the future holds a LT1 cam, Edelbrock intake, and mild 081s. sorry for the novel, im just excited to make my 305 a little more than a 170hp dog. |
Re: Time to start tuning For the 61#ers the stock is 12 psi I belive so at 18 psi would be 100 BPW. |
Re: Time to start tuning great, so i can start there. i guess 100lb/hr might be a bit much for my 305. oh well, at least i'll have direction when it comes time for a 350. any thoughts on patches/pinouts for PSPS, AIR Converter, VATS, ect. i would like this to be 100%. everything needs to function like stock...only better now. for now, this car needs to be fully smog legal. i've got my Blazer when i want to go crazy. |
