89 Trans Am GTA stalls until warm.
 

Im getting a code 42 that I can't seem to fix. When I first start the car it wants to stall out but if I nurse the accelerator for about 2 minutes it stays on. If I just try to take off and leave the car will stall when I shift into drive or reverse. Once it warms up a bit its 100% fine. I'm also getting code 24. Any help would be appreciated.

Clear the codes, see what code(s) come back.

Follow the diagnosis charts for those codes as printed in the service manual for your car.

Connect your scan-tool. I'd be interested in the short- and long-term fuel trim numbers, the coolant temperature numbers after the engine has been shut off overnight--and as it warms up to operating temperature, and the O2 sensor values and O2 sensor cross-counts. Also the commanded IAC values.
