Anyone have pics of the AFR hydra rev kit installed??

I just got my AFR hydra kit today, and I'm kind of confused as to how to install it. How do the aluminum plates attach to the heads? My heads are already installed, so I had to buy their spring tool. Anyone have any pics of this? Also, can I reuse my valve cover gaskets? They are the cork/rubber composite kind, and they have about 2000 miles on them. Thanks.

no pics.. but its pretty straight forward

The plates only go in one way. The edge of the plate will be flush with the intake gasket surface on the head when you got them down. Rotate the motor until the valves are closed on cyls 1 and 7 (drivers side) and do the end lifters first. That will hold the plate inplace.

The work your way through the others (rotating as you go). Don't tighten the fingers of the spring compressor.. they should not restrict the movement of the spring AT ALL.

Set the bottom of the spring on the aluminum bushing and with a big screwdriver, slowly work the spring out of the compressor and slip it into the hole on the plate. If it does not go flush you can use the screwdiver to pry it on to the seat. Go slow.. or you will have springs flying.

You will probably need to compress the spring almost solid,, i did.

Can go either way on the vc gaskets.. dry the surface good and you might get lucky.. if they are a bit to change I would replace them.
