Stumbling at highway speeds and a code 41---> Well, My TA sometimes stumbles at highway speeds but not all the time. At first I thought of the fuel filter(cheap fix if the problem). No good. Then I pulled a code 41, which gave me 3 options. I went out and picked up a new distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Still no fix(but probably needed it anyway) https://www.thirdgen.org/messageforum3/smile.gif. Anyone help? Thanks in advance. I'd really appreciate it. Here is some info for those of you....... 1983 TA 305 LG4 carb Jon. |
Anyone have an idea? I really could use some help. Thanks again, Jon. |
sounds like a weak fuel pump, it will usually show on the highway first, my book also states that the MAP/vac sensor could be giving bogus info to the ECM...... ------------------ "84Z28/'91 305TPI comp cam flowmaster TB coolant bypass/shutoff valve to heater core MAT relocated Ram-Air(home-made) gutted air-box IROC ground effects/wheels GY245/50's 700R4 superior shift kit/ corvette servo(excellent shift kit BTW) Rebuilt engine and transplanted it myself.
