Which side is the oilpan dipstick on?

Car is a 1984 Camaro Berlinetta with a 305 & 700R4.

Reason I ask is my car has none (hasn't since I bought it), and the oil pan is leaking...so I want to order one here online and I need to know which side the dipstick is on.

For the record, I bought my car as a project for the spring, and am just starting the repairs now, thats why I have no idea which side the dipstick came on, it wasn't there when I got it.

Pass side, if it's the original motor.

You might want to make sure it's not leaking out the dipstick hole.

You might also want to see if the smog pump has been hacked off of it; and if so, whether they put the top bolt back in the upper bracket hole (front side of the block, pass side, down low). That bolt hole looks into the crankcase.

No the pan has pin holes in it...could be leaking around the dipstick tube as well, I will check all that stuff out, but I needed the side in order to get a new pan.
