if anyone has been keeping up with the latest issues of CHP, you noticed that there was a buildup on an 87 z28, and since i have the same exact car i thought id do what they did to it. anyways, they said that they did the buildup with california emissions in mind. i purchased the same holley fuel pump and on the box it had a blue number two, meaning that it wasnt intended for use or sale in california. my question is that since i have a lot of exhaust modifications, would my emissions be showing im too lean? would i fail if i installed the fuel pump? i really need some answers im going insane!! thanks

There are a lot of parts out there that just haven't recieved the "official" OK from PITA cailifornia.

I wouldnt worry about a fuel pump, the smog tech and the machine won't know the difference.

Its like some rockers arms are not CA certified...... who is going to check??
