locktite

OK. I am wondering what kind of locktite, if any to use on many things.

-Pressure plate bolts
-Bellhousing bolts
-flywheel bolts
-valve cover studs
-carb studs
-water pump, crank pully bolts

I think you see where I am getting at. Do you use locktite on most things, or just on important things that need to not budge.

Also how do you know how much to toque these things to?

Thanks guys, I ask cuz i am picking up my 383 today thanks.

-Dennis

ps-what size bolts do you use to bolt your motor mounts to a PA K-memeber? Thanks again

None of those bolts that you posted, need Loctite.

One of the water pump bolts does however go right directly into the water jacket (lower one on the driver's side IIRC). Put sealer, NOT SILICONE, on those.

Loctite is a brand, they have lots of different products, look at www.loctite.com.
