running terrible

I've got a 90 Formula 350, only 91k miles on it. Its running real bad, i've been through the boards and have done everything I can think of, new cap and rotor, cleaned the IAC, replaced the TPS, ran chevron injector cleaner through it, hi octane gas, reset the timing. I had just put on new Accel 300+ series spark plug wires and some of the platinum plugs, this was last year though and it has notbeen drven much so I dont remember if it ran like this before the plugs or not. Other than another set of not platimun plugs, I was told to see if the distibuter has alot of play in it. The car misses, hesitates right at 1700-1800 rpm and a couple days ago was runnin real bad motor was shaking a bit. Any other sugestions?

I have an 87 GTA with a 305 TPI. Same issue. It was my MAF sensor. Set me back quite a bit, but that was the problem. Replaced it and the car purrs now... I did all of the same things you did first...
