Summit Top End Packages for Chevy??? Help I was looking to buy - http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku How is it? How much HP/Tq can I expect to get with this set up? |
That looks like the Edelbrock Performer RPM power package. Your output will vary depending on displacement of your engine, compression, etc. For a typical 350 figure somewhere in the neighborhood of 350-400HP, assuming you have headers and a good exhaust. That's massive over-simplification, but you get the general idea. You should check out Edelbrock's website for more information. |

These Summit top-end packages are an affordable way to get a lot of horsepower. They feature all-Edelbrock components, including the following: * Aluminum cylinder heads * Cylinder head bolt kit * Aluminum intake manifold * Intake manifold bolt set * Intake manifold gaskets * Performer-Link timing set * Hardened pushrods * Camshaft * Lifters(on non-roller cam applications) |
this one is 1409 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku looks the same other then Intake Manifold Model & Spark Plug Style: what if the diffrence betweem Straight, Angle? Well my headers fit both kind Jet hot Pacestter headers? |
Straight vs. angle plug refers to the angle at which the spark plug points into the combustion chamber. Angled plugs point toward the exhaust valve, straight plugs go straight in (like stock). Think about what direction that makes the outside of the plug point. If you're concerned about header clearance (and you should be) then just stick with straight plugs. Some headers can be a nightmare with angled plugs. Angled plugs in the old days were a way of getting just a tiny smidge more power, but on a street car you'll never notice the difference, if there is any at all in reality. |
Not sure what motor you have but that is a non-roller cam. |
Its a 350 i pulled rebulit out of a 1974 Z/28 Camaro i just used the heads that came with it stock ones. |
