How many original tpi/t5s?

HI everybody.

I was curious if anybody knows how many tpi's with original t5's came from the factory? Or how many are still out there? In my area they are not so common. How common is it in your area?

It would vary greatly for each year produced. In general Automatics are much more common, largely because only the 305 engine was fitted with a T5. Most of the 305's are Automatics. All of the Camaro 350's are Automatics. Seems like a very few (50 or so) 350 CI Pontiacs had T5's but don't quote me on that.

I'd guess that about 20% of all the Third Gen's had the T5.

As far as TPI with 5 speed I would say there are not many at all. I would say that it is less than 5% of all third gens produced during the production of the LB9.
