No Power to Distributor

I recently purchased a 1986 trans am with an LG4 and T5. The car hasn't ran in at least three years. My problem is that I dont have any power to the Bat terminal on the distributor. At first I thought the ignition switch was the problem but then I did some searching on here and it seems like when an ignition switch is bad the car wont crank. It doesnt seem like anything in the interior works either. I have no radio, gauges, turn signals, but I have power windows still. Any help is appreciated.

Ensure all contacts on the ignition switch and dizzy cap BAT terminal are clean. After sitting up for years, it's possible the connections have become somewhat corroded. It may not look like corrosion, but it's enough to make for a bad connection. As far as everything else, pull all the fuses and clean the contacts and fuse holder contacts real good.

Ignition switch was the problem. There was almost no corrosion on the terminals. I mistakenly took the switch apart and saw a ton of corrosion. I put a new switch in and the lg4 lives again!

Mine sat up for 12 years. I had to drop the fusebox and give it a good cleaning. Nothing looked like the regular, green or white looking corrosion, but all the contacts were "dirty". Cleaned everything and it was all okay, afterwards. Happens to bulbs and sockets, too.

Glad to hear all is well, now.
