Flexplate and Torque Converter

Hey guys, I had a quick question on the flexplate and torque converter. So recently I had my 700r4 rebuilt and am now in the process of getting my torque converter for the new engine for my power band to match up. I got a new flexplate 153 tooth 12 3/4 diameter externally balanced flexplate same as the original one I took off. The converter bolt pattern on the flexplate is 10.750". Will a torque converter with a 10.500" bolt pattern work with this flexplate? I thought I seen some where that a 12 3/4" flexplate will accept the 10.750 or 10.500" bolt pattern torque converter.
