How Long Will They Last? 89 Firebird TPI I was thinking about replacing the 3 stock rubber fuel lines (1 at tank, 2 in engine bay) with the crimped Saginaw? ends recently, but found they aren't made anymore. I've read that the only options are AN fittings/braided hose or cutting the old hose out and having a shop crimp new hose onto the old fittings. I'm not crazy about either. The hoses appear to be in good condition for as old as they are. Not cracking, brittle, or otherwise fatigued. At this point I'd just a soon skip it if they can last a while longer. So...how long do ya'll think they are good for? |
Re: How Long Will They Last? The above pictures show how I solved that problem using fuel injection rated hose & hose clamps . I did this 6 years ago and it's held up just fine . |

Re: How Long Will They Last? when you buy there complete stainless line kit you get these as part of the kit from inline tube... they probably would also sell them separate (at least the front two loose ones) |
