Extrude honing TPI Intake runners

So this article just hit Jalopnik, and while the GIF and Poster pic they posted is for a Mustang 5.0 the Youtube video starts out with a VERY familiar part to Thirdgen owners.

Saw that on FB. Can't imagine the hp increase on stock tpi runners being worth the cost at all.

I don't think it would really help a TPI engine at all unless you somehow stuck a big inch aftermarket headed thing under a stock intake and were restricted to using OEM runners. But even that would be super unusual to be in a class that would allow all those aftermarket parts, but not allow for an aftermarket intake.

I think its cool more from the industrial process because we hear about it all the time.

On a stock engine, it would be a really small gain probably not even measurable.

Yeah seems pretty useless all things considered. I might consider doing it on an aftermarket set but stock parts? Waste of time.
