we have liftoff... errr.... compression

tested 3 pistons:
#1, #2, #4
Each read 140-145 PSI
head Specs: 74 CC Combustion chambers (?? Edle made 2 sizes i think i have the old ones, 74 CC, but 64 CC exist too....)
Cam Specs: Advertised Duration, 284 / 294
@ .050 Duration: 224 / 234
Lift @ 1.5:1 Rocker, .465 / .488 ( im using 1.6:1 though)
<b>Lobe Separation Angle: 114 Degrees</b>
Starter is 10:1 high Torque Starter, compression occured just under 1 second for each compression "hit" (Got 145 PSI Reading from Piston 1, 2, 4 each under a second a piece, starter not slow)

<b>With a 114 LCA Shouldnt My compression be more like 160 PSI with flat-tops? hard to say?</b>

Lets say i DO have 160 PSI, but if my timing chain is off just 1 link, would it drop to 140 PSI? Or would i have <b> NO compression </b> if it was off, even 1 link? Does that make any sense, a 20 psi drop for 1 link of timing chain?

Car has no lope at idle whatsoever. timing is 22 Degrees initial, 36 Full open. <b> no lope at idle, except when first started. </b> Carbeurator related? <b>Cam has perfect lopes, lifters look / are brand new.</b>
Also, Car is running slightly rich, so its NOT a fuel delivery problem.

I dont know why you want a lopey idle but if you want it you need to lower your initial timing and idle speed. Then check your idle vacuum and make sure it is not lower than your power valve opening vacuum if it is change the power valve to correct size or waste lots of gas.
