which msd box for 5.7 tpi ? 6a?

hello

I was wondering which Msd box works best witha 350 tpi. Would it be a 6a?

Thanks

they all basically do the same thing, except one model or other models might have more bells and whistles to it

i haven't had problems with the 6a's
no rev limiter
but i dont care
valve float has stop rev limiting on me in the past

i also never had a mega powered machine, just you basic add ons and what not

the digital 6 is nice, but could be overkill
don't get caught up in the extra 300 rpms of multi-sparks it can produce, or the higher spark output
i didn't notice a difference, other then the starting retard, when i went from the 6 to the digi6

Autos break driveshafts, and u joints too. I would get the 6AL. A bit more money, but cheap insurance, IMO. Reguardless of what you buy, mount it in a cool place, or where it will get some airflow.

if you're going with MSD-6-whatever, make sure you get the MSD wiring harness. it made hookup so much simpler. I was getting geared up to have to wire up power and everything, and the MSD wiring harness took care of that. so easy. my car's a '90. not sure if there's differences, check the MSD web-site.
