a very simple question
 

Forgive my ignorance, but can anyone tell me how to remove a fuel injector from the rail. Space constraints are not a concern for me as the whole intake is out of the car. I saw a little metal snap ring around the injector, but after I got that loose, the injector still wasn't free and I don't want to break anything. Thank you.

I beleive that the metal clip that you took out is the only thing holding it in. You might have to remove the fuel rail from the injector first, and then you just pull the injector out. Since they havn't been out since the car was made, a little prying will be in order. You could spray a little WD40 around them to loosen the o-rings. Buy some new o-rings for when you reinstall them.
