Porting base and found inj I am porting my full intake and while doing so I got injectors for free that are out of a 5.4 1998 f150 that are supposed to be 19# inj so I was wondering if these work as a stock replacement on my 305 I know that Ford's fuel pressure is 40 which isn't a problem. But supposedly these inj are good to 304hp from factory. I have the plugs for them and everything, I just knew everyone used the 5.0 inj so I was seeing if this matched up as well. Also if anyone knew when porting the base on the tpi what not to port much as I have read the floor or roof is pretty thin. |

Re: Porting base and found inj I know someone has to know a thing or 2 on this. |
Re: Porting base and found inj No with your fuel pressure they will be 22lbers Find some Bosch 3s part number 0280155771 and run double orings to get the height the same-they are 19lbers with your fuel pressure. If you can't find them message me I have them for $25 shipped. |
Re: Porting base and found inj Actually its actually the fuel inj company that sets # per hour not ford and it's universal 43.5 psi from the inj company. ford just runs 19# inj at 36-40 psi which is actually less. I got the inj in and the entire car running. the inj weere short height wise but putting an o ring at the bottom got them to work |

Re: Porting base and found inj Couldnt tell you on the injectors but theres plenty of material on a stocker for porting. Dont go nuts on the floor but theres ample material to pick up cfm quite a bit. |
