No coolant to throttle body experience

Finishing up a TPI truck project and was wondering what experience you may have had running without the throttle body coolant lines. Will only be driving the truck in the Summer anyway. Notice any difference in fuel mileage or performance?

Reduced heat= cooler dense air and Is claimed at 7hp increase

Thanks..I know that's the theory...just wondering if anyone actually noticed a difference. More interested in fuel mileage.

I have my coolant lines disconnected for years, completely cut the housing off and only have the part for the iac, it is only intended to stop throttle blade freezing in winter environments.

Improvements are minimal but if your not driving in winter get rid of it

Your fine without it. It's mostly for colder climates to keep the throttle body from sticking in place.

The bypass mod is the same as cutting out the base of the air filter housing for the filters. WHo knows if there are gains to be made

Thanks guys..anyone have a heater hose routing diagram without the throttle body routing? The radiator I just installed has a heater hose inlet passenger side top, the water pump has an outlet that's capped.

Appears that the easiest routing is from the radiator to heater core (highside) and engine outlet near thermostat housing to heater core (low side)?
