IAC question I grounded terminals A and B in the ALDL connector, waited 45 seconds then unplugged the IAC. However, I noticed that after 45 seconds or more had passed, the IAC was still clicking if you felt it. I thought it was suppose to stop when it was all the way in? Is this normal or what? Defective IAC perhaps? Also, on WinALDL, I showed the TPS at .54v the MAF at 9.4g and the IAC was at 78 in Park. Seems the IAC is kinda high in Park. Car has that slight stumble on the road. |
Re: IAC question sounds like your IAC is toast , as they arent supposed to be clicking , i have found a few with a stripped gear that makes them do what you are describing |
Re: IAC question From my experience of doing that procedure, the IAC continues to click after it is seated. If you listen carefully, you can tell when it is seated because the sound of the clicks will have a definite change. If they aren't suppose to click, I guess mine is toast too, but seems to work fine. |
