TPI vacuum. Ok, all of the TPI threads are awesome. Good information. But I do have one question. There is a line that goes from the ball on the driver side fender and then it “T’s” off. In many threads and videos, I see this line attaching to the underside of the throttle body. On my car for some reason it doesn’t do that. That line goes around the back side of the engine bay and into day me sort of check valve. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...1c2c8d573.jpeg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...43df4c6d7.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...7631e7653.jpeg The problem is, I don’t have a line that’s leads from the canister to the throttle body?? |
Re: TPI vacuum. The vacuum line you're talkin bout goes from the cruise and reservoir to the check valve, where it splits to the Hvac system and back to the plenum (vac source) and doesnt have a thing to do with the can. The can's rat nest should include a line that hooks up to the big vac port below the crankcase vent port on the passenger's side of the TB. |
Re: TPI vacuum. Ok so vacuum ball line leads to check valve, hvac from inside of car to check valve, then check valve line goes to left front of throttle body? |
Re: TPI vacuum. Negative. Check valve to plenum by the MAP sensor. The charcoal can goes to the throttlebody. |
