32-34 lb/hr injectors?

Anyone know of a Bosch-III style injector that's 32-34 lb/hr?

I'm thinking of a way to replicate the sequential EFI 94-95 LT1 fuel trims (where GM richened the 1-4 cylinders by 10% over the 5-8 cylinders, pretty much everywhere), but with my batch fire system.

Looking at my plugs, the 1-4 cylinders are definitely more white than the 5-8. Was wanting to experiment with ~10% larger injectors up front to see if I can duplicate those 94-95 LT1 fuel trims and see how the engine responds.

Just throwing this out there; what if you put a resistor in 5-8 injector wires and then bumped the entire fuel table up by 10%?

I was thinking about something like that. But didn't really know if it was feasible. What resistor values would be needed?

The injector is on or off...not opened proportionally with current, so a resistor will either do nothing, or prevent the injector from firing entirely.

Have you tried https://witchhunter.com/? They have a calculator that converts lb/hr to cc/min. Once you determined the cc/min requirements, you can navigate to their fuel injector page and click on part number links. Kinda annoying to look through each one but I'm sure it'll steer you in the right direction.

Weird far left field thought....

What if you plumbed each fuel rail separately so as to control fuel pressure individually per rail/bank? It would be pretty messy & cluttered but a good way to control bank fueling while keeping the same injectors (therefore the same injector constants).

I think the OP is trying to do "staggered jetting" front to rear, since I believe he has a MiniRam, I think those run leaner on the front 4 cylinders.

He COULD do it the way that you're describing, by making 4 separate fuel rails, then plumbing them separately front/rear rather than side/side. Still, you'd need two FPR's, two fuel pumps, other wise the fuel would just push over relief on the lower FPR side. That'd cost more than staggered injectors.

You are right, I was thinking side to side not front to rear. Certainly more complicated and costly then just staggering injectors lol. I warned it was far left field!

Hey, creative ideas are awesome!...and that method could work and would be mechanically tunable. I'm glad that you posted a brainstorm.

Thanks. I did get your email responses as well. Appreciate the quick replies. Prices looked very reasonable.

Yeah, from looking at the SEFI LT1's, it's just a ~10% richening pretty much across the board from front to rear. So in theory, it seems like I could duplicate it with 10% bigger injectors on those cylinders.

The bigger injector method is much simpler than trying to do custom fuel rails and stuff.

I agree with your theory. I think it could work. I'd try it, if it were mine.

Does anyone have the datasheet on 280155831 Bosch-III injectors?

I have an Edelbrock pro flow xt and have a similar issue w the 1-4 vs 5-8 plugs. When assessing them the 1-4 are leaner. It runs great but I'm planning on putting a torque storm supercharger on it and the leaner front 4 was a concern of mine. Curious how this works.
