Backfires under load after installing flomatched injectors Idles nice but when I go to get on it backfires.Couldn't find any vac. leaks any ideas what to check next. BD3 |
I am not sure if you took the plug wires off when you swapped injectors or not. But it sounds like you might have a couple wires crossed up. nick |
I really wouldn't blame the injectors outright here. You didn't change to 22s on the stock chip did you? I'd guess tht a vacuum line or some connector isn't on right. Something ordinary like that would seem likely after having the plenum off. We're still on for the track in a few weeks right. I'll be running 3.42s and who knows what else by then. I don't want to hear no excuses when i'm smokin' you, lol |
Ed I'm not blaming the injectors just noting that after swap is when the backfiring started.Would a small vac. leak not effect idle but would under load? BD3 |
Well, with MAF, a vacuum leak can sometimes cause weird ****. So definitely look for that. I just can't help but think about something like the TPS not set or maybe even the MAF decided to start to go. |
