Servo and boost valve...........

Do I have to pull the valvebody to install my .500 boost valve and vette servo into my 700R4? Any tricks I should know before I start? Thanks Derek

i know that to change the servo you don't need to take the pan off at all.. you just have to tip the tranny down a whole bunch and come up with some creative ways of getting it in and out. If you do it without taking the tranny out of the car make sure you take the distributor cap off. broke one of those.

you have to take the valve body off to get the boost valve. It is near the front and has a snap ring holding it in. The servo can be replaced by dropping the crossmember down with a jack under the tranny and it will get low enough that you wont hit the cap.

Actually you do not have to remove the VB for the boost valve install.
