How to lock up?

i have a 2300-2500 stall converter with lock up how do i get it to lock up? do you have to wire a switch? or should it do it itself. any help would be apreciated.

what do you have? 700r4? stock?, year?,car? ect.

If it is a lockup converter it will lockup by itself provided your transmission and computer use a lockup converter. We need more info.

its an 89 iroc 350 tpi 700r4. tranny fresh rebuild. and the new converter.

it also has a trans go shift kit.
