Is there a upgraded 700 output shaft?

I was wondering if there is a stronger output shaft for the 700's? My buddy just
torn apart his cryo treated one on his Syclone and we are looking for a alternative.

Thanks

The tempered shaft you are using usually does the job. (1) What kind of horsepower are we talking about here?, (2) What size (diameter) of torque converter are you using?, (3) Which type of valve body kit are you using?, (4) What gear ratio are you running?, (5) How tall are the tires?, (6) What is the weight of the vehicle?, (7) Are you breaking this on the 1-2 WOT shift?, Any information will help here. Let me know?

1) 625hp to the wheels and 700+lbs
2) 9/11 lock up converter
3) Transgo shift kit
4&5) 3.42 gears with 25.5 inch tall tires.
275/35/17 and 315/35/17 drag radials front and back
6) about 3600 with him in it
7) from the datalog it looks like it is just before or at the 1-2 shift.

Do you lock the converter and what gear and RPM.

Just for more info . The shaft broke before the 1-2 shift. The Truck spun all 4 tires then got traction and thats what broke the shaft. Any info on a beefier shaft would be great.

Oh and he locks the converter as soon as the trans shifts into third gear.
