Not sure what the problem is? U Joint?

I'm having some sort of problem with my '92 RS. Here's a rundown of what happened.
I was pulling out of a parking lot, that is about 3ft below the street, and the ramp getting to the street is DAMN narrow. So, I'm going to go pull onto the street and I notice someone is RIGHT on my ***, so I floor it while turning onto the street (making a right). Anyway, I think my car hit the curb and when it landed I heard a *CLACK*. I kept driving, hoping nothing was wrong, when all the sudden I hear a bunch of thuds on the front, right side of my car. I stop to look thinking it was my side skirts. It wasn't.. So, I start up the car again, go slowly.. nothing happens, I speed up, nothing happens, I turn left. THUD THUD THUD. If I turn right, it's fine, the thud also happens when I'm going over any kinds of bumps in the road. What it sounds like is like a steel rod is sticking out somewhere, and hitting the chassis of the car everytime there is some movement.

Now, the car still runs fine, except for the excessive thuds.

What could it be?

What would the price of the part be?

Is it something anybody could fix, or should I leave it to a mechanic?

the problem is that you haven't jacked up the car and inspected it. There's 4 wheels and it's probably something to do with the front 2 of them.

I know I haven't really loked at it, but there's a reason. It happened last night around 2AM. I drove it home, woke up at 12PM, Went to my aunts house, came home and left for work. I have had no time to do anything, let alone jack up a car, and take the tires off. I came here for some help, not smart *** comments. (sorry to be rude)

that'd be a damn good place to start then come here an post your findings instead of hopping someone here can direct you to the problem so you do have to get dirty or troubleshoot.

Just an update, I found and fixed the problem. It was a broken transmission mount that cost me a whopping $11.78
