pilot bushing dimension?

Does anyone know the spec for how far the pilot bushing should extend from the back of the crank flange?
Thanks-

it shouldn't extend past the crank flange at all. i put them in untill they bottom out.

make sure the countersunk edge is facing outwards, and not inwards. Makes installing the trans a heck of a lot easier.
I think it'll be in about .020" or so from the back face of the crank.

McLeod piece

Thanks guys.
I got a McLeod extended bushing, to go with my T-56. It is different. It will need about .600" taken off to fit right. Right now it extends out from the crank. A bit of measuring showed me how far wrong it is.
The crank is aftermarket, so some of the mis-match may be at their door.
Think I will countersink the bushing, also, after it is shortened. I can hear the cussin', already, if I don't.
