Difficulty of installing a short-throw shifter

Just wondering what the procedure is and how its done...I am thinking about installing. What brand or model do you recommend?

uhhmmm the B&M shifter seems like a good candidate for this. im about to do one myself. i changed shifter boots a few days ago so i actually was down to the nitty gritty and saw the four bolts that bolt in the shifter, i didnt take them off since i didnt need to at the time, but i reckon that thats all you need to do, take it out and put the new one in.

someone correct me if im wrong.

I just installed a Hurst Billet/Plus shifter (Summit $191.00) in my T/A.
Very simple install, the hardest part was removing and reinstalling the radio pod. The instructions come with the shifter and again very easy...
